This summer, during a working trip to the Zakarpattia region, the IACA team awarded the «Badges of Honor» - the «Gratitude of the World from the Ukrainian People for the Humanitarian Component of the Victory» award to the employees of the Humanitarian Aid Distribution Center located in the restaurant complex «U Alechky» in the village of Dragovo - Mykhailo Rishko, Svitlana Rishko, Vasyl Kurychka and Vyacheslav Dovhanych.
We have written about this center, which has been providing volunteer assistance for over 8 years, more than once. After February 24, 2022, regardless of the situation and weather conditions, the Center will help everyone who asks for help. Clothes, hygiene products for children and adults, food – both humanitarian aid brought to Ukraine from donor partners and food prepared in the restaurant’s kitchen (cereals, salads, homemade dishes, even stew).
We understand that the entire team, led by Bogdan Alechko, whom we also mentioned in our publications, could not attend the awards ceremony. Therefore, our Team decided to award the team of the Humanitarian Aid Distribution Center with a Letter of Gratitude from our Team, as a part of the Ukrainian people, for their significant contribution to the humanitarian component of the Victory and for their personal contribution to the implementation of volunteer initiatives, organization and provision of comprehensive assistance and support to the needy.
Until there are people among us who are so selfless, so sincere and open that they are ready to help, our people are Invincible!
