Within the framework of the UA Event Project «THANK YOU», initiated by the International Anti-Corruption Assembly and supported by the International Charitable Help Corporation, the Second Festival UkrFest THANK YOU «Gratitude to the World from the Ukrainian People for the Humanitarian Component of the Victory» will be held in Prague (Czech Republic) on August 24, 2024, on the Independence Day of Ukraine.
The idea of the event is to express gratitude to people from countries that helped the people of Ukraine with humanitarian aid, moral support and shelter. To show that the people who participated in the assistance did not do it in vain, that we are decent people and we are grateful for this help!
On June 1 and 2 this year, the first UkrFest «Gratitude of the World from the Ukrainian People for the Humanitarian Component of the Victory» was held in Prague, with more than 300 participants. Many thanks and respect to all participants.
During the Second UkrFest «THANK YOU», the concert program will feature dance and singing groups of children and adults, as well as solo performances by Ukrainians who have migrated to the Czech Republic, Ukrainians who have come to express their respect and gratitude to the Czech people, and collective and solo performances by Czech artists who have joined in supporting and congratulating the Ukrainian people on the holiday.
A presentation of the collection of embroidered shirts «Renewed United, Integral, and Invincible Ukraine» (by Maria Zalizniak) is also planned.
UkrFest 2 will be held in the park at Chodov Fortress (Chodov, 149 00 Prague 11, Czech Republic). Entrance to the festival is free of charge.
The following is planned for the territory of UkrFest 2:
- a concert stage,
- exhibition area (art demonstrations),
- trade zone (clothes, accessories, souvenirs, including a thematic fair of Ukrainian and Czech craftsmen, where you can get acquainted with the traditions of the Ukrainian and Czech peoples),
- entertainment area (master classes),
- children’s zone (sweets, animators),
- gastronomic zone (drinks, food, opportunity to taste traditional Ukrainian and Czech dishes),
- a humanitarian zone where humanitarian aid is received within the framework of the Children for Children charity project.
At the humanitarian aid points you will be able to send toys, stationery, greeting cards and drawings made by children for Ukrainian children in Ukraine.
We invite everyone to join us at the Second UkrFest «THANK YOU», which will be held on August 24, 2024 from 12:00 to 20:00 in the Park at Chodov Fortress (Chodov, 149 00 Prague 11, Czech Republic).
Registration of the Festival participants is carried out via an online application form.
