Schools of Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv supported the «Children for Children» relay race.
On May 24 and 28, 2024, IACA representatives visited schools in the Holosiivskyi district and received humanitarian help collected by pupils (and their parents) for displaced children, refugee children, children from large and low-income families who are currently living in difficult living conditions.
Our volunteers visited 13 educational institutions.
«Not to be put off», the humanitarian help collected on 24th immediately went to the Children’s Help Centers in the Hero city of Okhtyrka, Sumy region, and the village of Kuchurgan, Odesa region. A day later, on Sunday, the children were able to receive the much-needed items. The humanitarian cargo collected on May 28 will be sent to Poltava and Volyn oblasts later.
We are grateful to those who responded to the «Children for Children» action and did not refuse to help. And we are glad that helping children in such a difficult time for the population of Ukraine is a priority for our people.
