Earlier, in our article of March 17, 2024, we wrote about the Charity Ball held in Prague on March 16, which was attended by members of the International Anti-Corruption Assembly (hereinafter – IACA). The auction was mentioned and the purpose of the event was to raise funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the population of Ukraine.
The IACA members and the Charitable Organization «Charitable Foundation for the Support of the Ukrainian Military» – partners with whom a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed, as well as thanks to donors, a vehicle for our military was purchased in Europe. And with part of the funds raised at an auction in Prague, the IACA international team was able to transport the vehicle from Switzerland and deliver it to Ukraine to be handed over to the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for further use in combat missions.
Many members of the organization participated in this «operation». Roman Romanskyy, Head of the IACA Representative Office in Italy, together with Bogdan Alechko, Deputy Head of the IACA Coordination Center in the Zakarpattia region of Ukraine, arrived to make the purchase of the car and delivered it to the Czech Republic. In Prague, Czech Republic, they handed over the vehicle to the IACA representatives, Head of the Prague Department Vitaliy Rishko and Assistant Head of the IACA in the Czech Republic Edhard Moldovan. Then the vehicle was handed over to Vyacheslav Sayenko, Secretary General of the Central Committee of the International Anti-Corruption Assembly, who delivered it to Ukraine in Khust, Zakarpattia region, where it was met by Roman Róman, Head of the IACA Coordination Center in Zakarpattia region of Ukraine. Then, after the necessary registration, technical inspection and equipment, the vehicle will be transferred to a military unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The vehicle, which can save the lives of many of our guys, has traveled halfway across Europe and will go to fulfill its duty charged with activism, positive attitude, dedication and hope for Victory.
Our team is sincerely grateful to the “Charitable Foundation for the Support of the Ukrainian Military” and personally to Vasyl Kuzma, director of HUST-PHARM LLC, to the NGO “Walrus Club” and personally to Serhiy Chizhmar, to the Private Enforcement Officers of the Zakarpattia region, the Union of Private Enforcement Officers and personally to Oleksandr Lukech, as well as to Volodymyr Shymonya, Viktoriia Roman, Volodymyr Zvarun, Mykhailo Tudovsha for their contributions to the purchase of the car.
