Today, on the eve of the New Year 2025, the Children’s Help Center in Kuchurhan village in the Lyman settlement community of Rozdilnyansky district of Odesa region celebrated its birthday. Thanks to the charity actions «Children for Children» and «Give a little piece of warmth», donor partners from Europe and teamwork of the Assembly and the Foundation from different regions of Ukraine, during the year the Center was able to help provide orphans, displaced children, children from low-income and large families, children from families of military personnel living in the Kuchurgan territorial community with everything they need: clothes, shoes, books, stationery and, of course, toys. Almost 100 children visited the Center that day. And each of them was able to receive small gifts from Santa Claus (sweets that were handed over to our team on December 21 by Natalia Yushchyshyn and residents of the entrance number 2 at Maksymovycha Street 3d, a multi-storey residential building in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv).
The Children’s Help Center in Kuchurhan village was opened on December 25, 2023, at the initiative of the International Anti-Corruption Assembly and the International Charitable Help Corporation, with the assistance of the Kuchurhan Village Council and Svitlana Velychko, who provided the premises free of charge. Every Sunday, mothers, fathers and grandmothers with children whose families are in difficult life situations come to the Center to pick up the things they need for their children.
The «Children for Children» charity action was launched on March 29, 2024. To date, educational institutions of Kyiv and Kyiv region, including 36 secondary schools, gymnasiums and lyceums, as well as 22 preschools, have taken part in the action.
The «Give a little piece of warmth» charity action was launched in autumn 2024. Kyiv residents took part in the action.
