Today, on May 30, we witnessed an extraordinary act of kindness and caring. Our team met with a lovely woman named Lesya, who handed over a valuable cargo for the Kuchurgan Children’s Help Center: children’s clothes, clothes hangers and horizontal bars. This help will be an invaluable contribution to creating a more comfortable and organized space in the Center for children and their parents.

Lesya shared her difficult life story with us.
Since 2014, Lesya, along with her husband and two daughters, was forced to leave her native Avdiivka to escape the war. At first, the family found refuge in Kramatorsk, where they managed to buy an apartment. Life gradually got better: Lesya opened a children’s clothing store, and her husband worked as a driver. However, after the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, the family was once again forced to look for a safe place, this time in Kyiv. The family has been renting an apartment for three years. The eldest daughter works, and the youngest has started 9th grade. To provide for the family, Lesya’s husband works abroad and comes to visit them once every six months.
She believes in a better future, and they will be able to return to a normal life where they don’t have to run from explosions and hide in basements. In the meantime, she is holding on for the sake of her children and her husband.
Despite all the difficulties, Lesya has not lost her faith in goodness and her desire to help others. Her gesture of support for the Kuchurgan Children’s Help Center is not just a donation of things, it is a manifestation of sincere care and compassion for children in difficult life circumstances.
This story is an example of how kindness and caring can work miracles even in the most difficult times. Together we can make the world a better place for children who need our support!
We are sincerely grateful to Lesya for her generosity and caring!
Today, the humanitarian aid donated by Lesya and the «Happy Country» preschool (Sofiyivska Borshchahivka) has been delivered from the Kyiv branch No. 4 of Nova Poshta to the Kuchurhansky Children’s Help Center.
Special thanks to our logistics partner Nova Poshta for the prompt and timely delivery of the necessary cargo. Thanks to their support, the aid will quickly reach those who need it most.
And we believe that this help will become not only practical support for the Center’s children, but also a symbol of hope and belief that they are not alone. Knowing that there are people who care about them, the children will feel more secure and confident in the future.
We urge everyone who cares to get involved in good deeds. Even a little help can make a big difference to those in need. Together, we can create a chain of goodness that will unite us in our desire to help those in difficult life situations.
Let the example of Lesya and the «Happy Country» preschool inspire us to do good deeds and remind us that kindness is a force that can change the world for the better. After all, it is in such moments of unity and mutual assistance that the true strength of the Ukrainian people is manifested.
